"I appreciated reading this book from the perspective of a loved one dealing with breast cancer in my own immediate family. From this perspective, I felt the information the author shared was very sensitive to both the person being treated for breast cancer, as well as reaching out to help family, friends and everyone elso who wants to become more informed about this disease from an educated, personal perspective."

A STORY OF HOPE
Readers will learn how to look and feel beautiful both during and after a lumpectomy, a mastectomy, chemot
herapy and radiation. Like a friend, Joyce guides women through their journey with breast cancer, and answers the many questions that arise. She talks about the fact that she has had breast cancer and interestingly her twin sister does not. She also talks about how women can feel lovable and capable of finding or maintaining a fulfilling relationship through it all!

Joyce Giannini, M. A.
has twice survived breast cancer and now has a 95% cure rate. She received her M. A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and her B. A. in English Literature from UCLA. She has worked with foster children as well as adults, conducting assessments and providing individual therapy.
